Red State Road Trip
Been watching an interesting video in episodes online over the past month. It's an American road trip video, comprised of on-the-spot interviews with all kinds of folks out there hiding in plain sight in the so-called "Red States" of the south and midwest. The road trip just concluded with the 12th episode.
It reveals a whole bunch about the jarring mismatch between what people say they believe in versus who they voted for. You can speculate about what diseases of miscommunication has led the American public out there in the heartland to this irrational choice against their own values.
